1. Information we collect
A fit request may include your name, email address, project title, screenplay length, estimated budget, project overview, timeline, available resources, intended next step, questions, and acknowledgments about age and rights. The initial form does not accept screenplay files.
- If accepted, we may also collect your screenplay, logline, synopsis, director goals and questions, current budget, resources and timeline, optional pitch deck or lookbook, signed agreement, invoice and payment status, communications, and review deliverables.
- Our hosting and security providers may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser data, timestamps, and security logs.
- Payment-card details are handled by Wave or its payment processors; Le Vide does not receive or store full card numbers on this website.
2. How we use information
- Evaluate whether a project fits the Readiness Review and respond to the filmmaker.
- Manage limited monthly capacity, waitlists, acceptance, payment, delivery, and support.
- Prepare and deliver the contracted assessment.
- Maintain security, prevent spam or misuse, resolve disputes, and comply with legal, accounting, and tax obligations.
3. Service providers
We use service providers to operate the website and service, including ChatGPT Sites for hosting and database functions, Resend for transactional email, Google Workspace and Google Drive, DocuSign, and Wave. Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy practices. We disclose only what is reasonably needed for the relevant function.
4. Sale, advertising, and publicity
Le Vide does not sell or rent personal information and does not use Readiness Review information for targeted advertising.
We will not publicly name a client or project, share a result, quote feedback, or publish a testimonial without separate written permission. Purchasing a review does not grant publicity rights to either party.
5. Confidentiality and access
Project materials are used only to evaluate, administer, and perform the review, except when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or security. Access is limited to Le Vide and the providers needed to operate the service. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
6. Retention and deletion
- Inactive fit-request records—such as new, waitlisted, or declined requests—are retained for up to 12 months and then deleted.
- Screenplays and other accepted-project source materials are normally deleted 30 days after final delivery. Clients should keep their own copies.
- Signed agreements, invoices, payment records, correspondence needed to document the transaction, and other business records may be retained longer when reasonably necessary for legal, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes.
- Temporary backups or provider-controlled copies may remain for a limited period under the provider’s ordinary systems and retention practices.
7. Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete information by emailing info@levidefilms.com. We may need to verify the request and may retain information that we are legally permitted or required to keep. Withdrawing a request before acceptance does not create a paid obligation.
8. Eligibility and location
The introductory Readiness Review is offered only to clients in the United States who are at least 18 years old. The website is not directed to children.
9. Changes and contact
